AI white background for any photo.

Drop a product shot, a headshot or a whole folder. An AI model cuts out the subject exactly as photographed; everything behind it turns pure white, ready for a shop listing, an application form or a portfolio.

To remove the background, each photo is resized to 1024 px on the long side and sent to our processing server. We do not store it, and the processing service deletes it within an hour. For photos that must stay on your device, use the background remover in Private mode.

Drop a photo

JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. The background turns pure white, the subject stays as photographed.

Built for the boring, repeated job.

Most marketplaces and forms reject busy backgrounds outright. Amazon and Etsy main images have to sit on pure white; passport and ID photos want a plain light background with no shadow. This tool is built around those rules.

Single or batch

One photo with a before-and-after view, or up to 20 processed two at a time with a ZIP at the end.

Pure white, every time

The fill is exactly #FFFFFF, the value listing rules check for. No cream, no faint grey from a JPEG artifact.

Soft edges

Hair, fur and fabric keep a soft edge instead of a hard cut, so the subject does not look pasted on.

iPhone HEIC accepted

HEIC is converted in your browser before upload, so photos straight from the camera roll work.

Deleted within an hour

The resized copy goes to the processing service and is removed automatically. We keep nothing.

Original names kept

runner-side.jpg comes back as runner-side-white.jpg, so a folder of product photos stays matched.

Before you upload.

Is this the same as the background remover?
Same AI, different job. The background remover gives you a transparent PNG or any colour or image behind the subject, in a Fast mode on our server or a Private mode in your browser. This page does one thing: it always fills the background with pure white, with a before-and-after view and batches of 20.
Does my photo leave my device?
Yes. A copy resized to 1024 px on the long side is sent to our processing server, handled, and deleted by the processing service within an hour. We do not store it and we do not use it for training. If a photo must stay on your device, use the background remover in Private mode instead.
What resolution do I get back?
1024 px on the long side, as a JPG. That covers what Amazon, Etsy and most application forms ask for. If you need a larger file, use the background remover in Private mode, which runs in your browser at the original size, and pick white as the background there.
Is the white really pure white?
Yes. The gap behind the subject is filled with RGB 255, 255, 255, which is what marketplace listing rules check for. Cream, off-white or a faint grey from the original photo does not survive.
Will it work for a passport or ID photo?
For the background, yes. Most authorities also want the head a set size and centered, and no shadow behind it. Run the result through the passport photo maker to get the crop and dimensions right for your country.
What about hair, fur and soft edges?
The cutout keeps a soft edge rather than a hard outline, so hair and fabric do not look pasted on. Very fine strands against a similar-toned background can still lose a little detail; a plain, contrasting backdrop when you shoot gives the best result.
Why is a batch limited to 20 photos?
Each photo costs a little to process on the server. Twenty per batch keeps the tool free for everyone. If you have more, run a second batch after the first finishes.
Which files can I upload?
JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC. HEIC is converted in your browser before anything is sent. The output is always a JPG named after the original file, with -white added.
