Common questions about splitting PDFs.

How do I split a PDF?
Drop the PDF onto the tool. It shows a thumbnail of every page. Select the pages you want and choose Selected pages as PDF to extract them into one new file, or Each page as separate PDF to split every page into its own file in a ZIP. No upload, no signup.
Can I extract just a few pages?
Yes. Tick the pages you want and download them as a single new PDF. The original is untouched. You can also reorder or rotate the selected pages before exporting.
Does my PDF upload anywhere?
No. The PDF is rendered and rebuilt entirely on your device using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Nothing uploads, nothing is logged. This matters for contracts, statements, and IDs you do not want on a server.
Is it really free with no watermark?
Yes. No accounts, no daily caps, no watermark. Everything runs in your browser.
Can I split a large PDF?
Yes, within your device memory. Rendering thumbnails for a very large PDF takes a moment, but the splitting itself is fast because it copies pages without re-rendering them.
Will splitting reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied at their original quality. Splitting does not re-compress text or images.
What if the PDF is password protected?
An encrypted PDF cannot be read in the browser. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then split the unlocked copy here.

Building a PDF from site photos?

If the pages you are organizing are field photos, the iOS app stamps each shot with the date, GPS, and address at the shutter, so the documentation is verifiable before it ever becomes a PDF page.
