How do I crop an image into a circle?
Drop the image (JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC) onto the tool. Drag it to position and use the zoom slider to fit the part you want inside the circle, then hit Download. Choose PNG for transparent corners or JPG for a solid background. No upload, no signup.
Will the corners be transparent?
Yes, if you download as PNG or WebP with the Transparent background. The area outside the circle is fully transparent, so the round image sits cleanly on any background. JPG cannot store transparency, so JPG fills the corners with your chosen color.
Can I make a rounded square instead of a circle?
Yes. Switch the shape to Rounded and use the corner radius slider, from gently rounded to almost circular. It is ideal for app icons and rounded profile pictures.
Does my image upload anywhere?
